Influencing Attitudes through Web Publishing (COH)

Empowering advocacy for the handicapped through a suite of managed content services

Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH) runs 2 activity centers for clients with severe disabilities. Clients are coached in daily routines and in managing their behaviour when relating with others.

The goal of effective integration with community however also requires the public at large to better understand special needs, and the roles they can play.

Raison worked with COH to develop their web presence, with a primary goal to shape current attitudes and build acceptance for people with severe intellectual disabilities, while also informing and resourcing their supporting community of client families, volunteers and donors.

The COH website is a testimony to the power of blending a strong messaging strategy in the form of inspirational stories, articles and a quarterly eZine, with a worthy social message that entertains and enlightens those who want to do good for the less fortunate.
